Course Overview
Year 1

Performing: Solo work / group work / creating music using technology. 
Composing: Developing your skills in response to a brief and with creative freedom. 
Influences on Music: Analysing music, developing aural skills, exploring music from a wide range of areas of study. 

Year 2

Performing: Solo recital or technology options.
Composing: Writing to a brief and developing original ideas.
Music in Context: Analysing western classical works and music from a wide range of specialist genres. 


University: BA/BMus courses, joint honours courses (Music with…), music college, specialist training in pop/rock music.
